The Tahuna Gift Market is a boutique market in the heart of Tahunanui, which is held every Saturday from 1.00 - 4.00pm.

As a small business owner and crafter Rachel Greig, found there was a lack of variety in regular weekly markets to attend in the Nelson region, she wanted to create an alternative destination for weekend shoppers. That would showcase a diverse, creative and collaborative local market place.

​

Coming from a market and stallholder family, she has been regularly attending markets and fairs around the region. 
Building a network of contacts with other artisans, stallholders and entrepreneur's, and has built relationships and friendships. Rachel wants the market goers to also enjoy this collaborative culture, with her hand selected  collection of stallholders that support and encourage each other, offering customers the fruits of their hard-work.
